Welcome to the O'Faolain view of the world where the landscape combined with an emerging creativity offer us a kind of emotional balm and spiritual inspiration. these are the landscapes of our childhood, when we were excited by the fear and joy of folk tales, of beautiful youths on their life's quests, where they encountered trials, setbacks and challenges on their paths before meeting their destiny. These works before us are evocative of these magical Celtic lands of lore, which reflect our own journey. Also these works are reflections of Michael's journey giving us a glimpse of what he meets on his way. His paintings portray his own personal life which has been marked by loneliness, barren periods and at times exposed to nature's cruelty.
