From life's
first scream to the parting breath
Its a journey on earth measured by death
For the spirit lives on as it did before
And we remember our dead if they had gone next door.
Their dent
on this earth can be small or great
But the hollow inside is hardest to take
The whys and the ifs only add to the pain
For the spirit is free and with us again.
To hang onto
someone God calls along
We must let go and remember their song
For everyone sings their way through life
By word and deed in a unique rite.
We bring
nothing in and we take nothing out
Its called breaking even to any in doubt
A nice time to leave with a slate so clean
To remember that heart makes for a dream.
